Now this is where we got to see an absolutely beautiful side of America. The Pacific Coast Highway. I have a ton of photos for this, but they are all on my real camera, and I need to get an adapter ASAP to upload these photos...so bear with me as I hold over with a few shots from the internet.

Day 25*
Monday morning, Andrew and I were on our own. Michaela, in true event planner form, gave us a great list of suggestions to explore the city. We started with a long walk in the Golden Gate Park with Rocky. Then we made our way to Yummy Yummy for my first Pho experience. I was craving noodles, soup and vegetables and this fit the bill. Dessert at a new Japanese bakery, and off we were to downtown.
Most colorful Dr. Suess tree I've ever seen

APM got a great custom penny “piece” off the streets of San Fran. Then we walked up hills, then we walked down hills, then back up hills until we made it to Lombard Street. It really is all I imagined. Great windy road, with cautious drivers daring to make the trip. Next was a short walk to The Brazen Head. Jessie of Park Corner Bistro, is from the west coast, and his lovely dad owns the Brazen Head where we decided to have a few appetizers and a glass of wine with Michaela.
Afterwards, we made it home and Michaela, in the midst of a hectic work week, made us a steak stir fry followed by another goodnights sleep.

Day 23*24*
San Francisco
Another assortment of pictures from our great 5 day stay in San Fran, AKA The City, but I will try to keep these in order.
First night we got to Micaela’s and met her great roommates, and fantastic boyfriend Ben. We got acquainted, made our self at home, and went out for a few drinks. But first we had dinner at Park Chow. Apparently one of Micaela’s favorites, and a great crowd pleaser. I don't have any personal photos here, but I can attest the food was excellent.
On our first San Francisco morning we started with Michaela’s homemade french toast. Followed by Ben and Michaela’s personal San Francisco tour filled with the Golden Gate Bridge, Robin Williams home and of course, the Full House house. Then back to the Golden Gate Park to celebrate a friends birthday. Rocky of course made a new friend. Then back to Ben's for the birthday after party and finally home to rest before everyone had to go to work the next day.
First stop on the Ben and Mic San Fran tour, beer in the garden at Park Chalet
Followed by the Golden Gate Bridge
And...as any 90's girl can attest, they have seen this view one hundred times..."As days go buy"

Day 22*
Reno 911
Pit stop in Reno. We decided to be “fancy” and stay in the world famous original Harrah’s Casino and Resort. I never quite know what to expect in a town known for its gambling, but it was quite interesting. Reno is actually right on the Reno River which made for nice walks with Rocky. We didn't spend more than a night in Reno, but we saw plenty. Because of our lovely pup, we stayed on the dreaded 4th floor, east wing...dog floor. When we left our room for dinner, all you could hear where dogs barking in each room, wondering why their parents were gone for so long. Not our Rocky, he knew how to behave in such a place. After a nice dinner and a little bit of time on the Roulette wheel, we called it an early night. We did manage to find a local coffee shop the next morning, The Hub, that was unreal. Great cafe mochas that puts Reno on the map.
As you can see, we are not that great at gambling
Are pictures legal in casinos? :)

Until next time Reno
Day 20*21*
I need to apologize and back up here. We were in Park City, UT for two days and I failed to mention this stay completely! APM snowboarded Park City Mountain, and I....went to Salt Lake City and went shopping. To my surprise, I stumbled into H&M for the first day of the Marni Collection. Great designer and the store was packed with her followers. But I just walked away with my 24.95 dress. No shame in a great dress. I continued to shop other boutiques around Salt Lake City and couldn't believe how "fancy" it was there. Coming from Steamboat I did not expect a fully fashion conscious ski town, but Salt Lake City sure was.
We finished our last night with dinner at the No Name Saloon on Main Street. They are apparently famous for the Buffalo Burgers so we stopped by to have one, and a what a treat. Didn't taste far from the traditional beef burger, but just a richer, more delicious version.

Day 18*19*
Day 18"
The next day was so relaxing. We finally realized we must leave Steamboat to venture out into the wild west. So today was about getting ready for our departure. Rocky and I had a nice day of laundry and car cleaning, while APM got to sleep in and enjoy the feeling of being 28 :) We finished the day with happy hour at Rex's and said goodbye to some of our friends.
Day 19*
Sad, sad day. We packed up our weeklong stay at the hotel room and said our good byes to our good friend Elias. But our next adventure awaits us in Park City, Utah. More snowboarding, here we come.
But we must first stop at Dinosaur National Monument on the Colorado-Utah boarder. We never saw an actual Dinosaur Monument, but it was quite breathtaking. We had to be the only people for miles and miles and that was such a new feeling. Home for the night was Reno...

Day 17* Andrew's Birthday!
Today was APM's 28th birthday. He's still claiming he's 26 which is fine with me. I'm pretty sure he spent his birthday in the best possible way.
He started the day with sunny mountain runs
Then we had a nice afternoon of DJ Pretty Ninja at Slopeside Grill

Just a cool picture outside T Bar
Rocky even made a friend
Finishing the spectacular birthday off at where else, but T Bar
