Day 30*31*32*33*34*

The next morning was beautiful. We continued down the Pacific Coast Highway and made our way to San Diego. The first night we relaxed in preperation for St. Patrick's day the next day.

But not without going to our first In N Out Burger. Andy, cough cough, had In N Out burger twice that night.

Rocky met Chewbacca

St. Patricks Day games

We started St. Patty’s day with egg sliders and went on our way to celebrate the Irish. A nice house party followed by bar hopping made for a great day. Our friends run Irie Ride T-shirt company and they were kind enough to give me a shirt for the special day.

On Pacific Beach there was a surf shop called Rocky's Surf Show with a dog paw print as their logo! We had to get Rocky a tank in his own size.

The next few days were another collection of relaxing and regrouping. We sat by the pool, cooked a lot of homemade meals, and I even got to catch up on a lot of work for the new store. And Rocky and I took daily trips to the dog beach to stretch his legs and make new friends.

On our last full day, we made it to the Farmer’s Market, where our new friends had a booth for art work and T-shirts. San Diego is full of creative, artistic, amazing people. Its such a talented community filled with amazing artist of every kind.

Day 28*29*

We woke up in beautiful Monterey and went took our time driving down the coast of California on the Pacific Coast Highway. We literally tried to drive as close to the ocean as possible.

Rocky and Andrew both had their first dip in the Pacific. We even found Rocky a Bernese girlfriend with one blue eye! She was gorg.

Followed by a much  needed dog bath for Rocky. Although I don't think he was to happy about it.

Yep, I drove over that bridge

After a load of quick turns and beautiful scenery, we decided to rest in Cambria for the night.

Day 26*27*

San Francisco
The next two days were very well needed days of rest. We had low key days of laundry, once again, and Netfix catchup. Next was another sad departure as we left Michaela’s for the road. We did make a stop at the Fisherman's Pier for great tourist fun.

A rainy drive through The Castro
Clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Boudins with a great Pyramid Ale. We hit the road a little late and only made it Monterey for the night. A great little beach town and we just went right to bed.
